Hurricanes' Alex Lyon: Called up to big club

Lyon will be called up from AHL Chicago, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.

Lyon will presumably back up Frederik Andersen on Tuesday in Tampa with Antti Raanta dealing with an upper-body injury. Lyon has yet to make his Hurricanes debut after posting a 1-3-1 record, 3.33 GAA and .893 save percentage with the Flyers last season.
