Hurricanes' Sam Gagner: Three points Saturday

Gagner scored a goal on two shots and added two assists and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's preseason win over the Predators.

The 35-year-old is in camp with Carolina on a PTO, and Gagner made a strong final statement in his attempt to win a roster spot. He suited up for 28 regular-season games with the Oilers in 2023-24, contributing five goals and 10 points.
