Islanders' Ken Appleby: Returned to AHL

Appleby was loaned to AHL Bridgeport on Monday.

In a corresponding move, Semyon Varlamov (lower body) was activated from injured reserve. Appleby made six saves on eight shots in a relief appearance against Minnesota on Jan. 15 during his only NHL appearance while Varlamov was unavailable.
