Hellebuyck will undergo minor arthroscopic knee surgery and is expected to be out of action for 4-6 weeks, Darren Dreger of TSN reports Friday.
Eric Comrie will take over as the No. 1 goaltender while Hellebuyck is out of action. Hellebuyck is 8-6-0 with a 2.51 GAA and a .913 save percentage across 14 starts this season. Look for the Jets to recall a goaltender from AHL Manitoba, likely Thomas Milic.
