Lightning's Gabriel Fortier: Underwent offseason surgery

Fortier underwent surgery during the offseason and will be unavailable until December, per Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com on Wednesday.

Fortier had 13 goals and 26 points in 62 regular-season contests with AHL Syracuse in 2023-24. Once the 24-year-old is healthy, he'll probably play in the minors, though Fortier might get a chance to serve with Tampa Bay at some point before the end of the campaign.
