Michael McLeod: Heading to KHL

McLeod signed a contract with Barys Astana of the KHL on Friday.

McLeod was not given a qualifying offer from the Devils after being charged in connection with an alleged incident that occurred during a 2018 Hockey Canada event. McLeod will follow in the footsteps of another player facing charges stemming from that event, Dillon Dube, in heading to the KHL while awaiting trial.
