Oilers' Isaac Howard: Sent down to minors

Howard was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Monday.

Howard, who was acquired by the Oilers from the Lightning in July, made it to the last round of cuts before being shipped off to the minors. While the 21-year-old winger will have to settle for starting the year with AHL Bakersfield, he should be on the short list of potential call-ups this year, and figures to make his NHL debut at some point during the 2025-26 campaign.
