Penguins' Mac Hollowell: Going through waivers

Hollowell was put on waivers Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Hollowell had three goals, 44 points and 63 PIM in 64 regular-season contests with AHL Hartford in 2023-24. The 26-year-old also has two assists in six career NHL games. He'll probably spend most of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, but he might be summoned at some point if Pittsburgh runs into injury trouble.
