Hollowell was not qualified by Toronto on Friday, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.
Hollowell has appeared in just six career NHL games -- he notched two assists while averaging 12:56 of ice time in those six appearances last season. The 24-year-old blueliner had 13 assists with eight PIM in 18 AHL contests in 2022-23.
