Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Records assist in loss

Panarin notched an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Avalanche.

Panarin's last game with a single point was Nov. 16 -- in the eight games after that, he had five multi-point efforts and three goose eggs. The winger is up to 31 points (nine goals, 22 assists), 63 shots and a plus-6 rating in 25 appearances this year. He's been excellent on the second line and first power-play unit, and that shouldn't change going forward.
