Rangers' Conor Sheary: Headed for long-term IR

Sheary (lower body) is going to be placed on long-term injured reserve Thursday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Sheary will need to miss at least the next 10 games for the Rangers, though it could certainly be longer. With the veteran winger on the shelf, the Rangers bolstered the forward group by calling up Brett Berard, Justin Dowling and Anton Blidh.
