Rangers' Turner Elson: Placed on waivers Friday

Elson was put on waivers Friday, Chris Johnston of TSN reports.

Elson has played three games at the NHL level during his career. The 31-year-old had 17 goals and 41 points in 72 games with AHL Hartford last season.
