Red Wings' Austin Czarnik: Battling illness

Czarnik will miss Thursday's game against Carolina because of an illness, Max Bultman of The Athletic reports.

Czarnik has an assist, 10 hits and nine blocks in 25 outings in 2023-24. Due to Czarnik being unavailable, Daniel Sprong will draw into the lineup Thursday after spending three straight contests as a healthy scratch.
