Czarnik was recalled from the minors Thursday.

Czarnik has played 18 games with the big club this season, registering one assist and seven hits. The 31-year-old is in his second season with Detroit and will look to provide some spark as the Red Wings have lost six straight games. He will likely slide into a fourth-line role against Arizona on Thursday.
