Senators' Lassi Thomson: On waivers for AHL assignment

Thomson was placed on waivers by the Senators for the purpose of assignment to the AHL, the team announced Sunday.

Thomson joined the Senators this offseason after spending the last year in Finland. He will begin his second North American stint in the AHL with Belleville, the team he was a member of for the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign. During that season, Thomson notched 21 points in 67 regular-season games.
