Senators' Mads Sogaard: Sent to AHL Belleville

The Senators sent Sogaard to AHL Belleville on Friday.

Sogaard is highly regarded by the Senators, but with Linus Ullmark and Anton Forsberg ahead of him on the depth chart, it makes sense to send him to the minors to get him playing time. Sogaard was 1-3-0 with a 4.05 GAA and an .859 save percentage in six regular-season appearances with the Senators last year. The Danish netminder was 18-9-3 with a 2.45 GAA and a .916 save percentage over 32 AHL appearances during the regular season in 2023-24.
