The Sharks added Blichfeld to the taxi squad Wednesday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Blichfeld has tallied 12 goals and 10 assists in 28 games with AHL San Jose this season. The 23-year-old, who played five NHL games last season, could join the Sharks if any regular forwards become unavailable.
