Sharks' Nicolas Meloche: Physical in loss

Meloche logged an assist and six hits in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Avalanche.

This was the fourth game this season where Meloche has had at least six hits. He also picked up his third point in the last six games, though it's tough to think that he's found a new level on offense. The second-round pick from 2015 has earned six points, 91 hits, 35 blocked shots, 23 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 31 contests, mainly playing in a third-pairing role.
