Stars' Adam Erne: Lands on injured reserve

Erne (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, retroactive to Nov. 11.

Erne is already expected to miss multiple weeks, so this move simply frees up a roster spot for the Stars to work with. The 30-year-old could have a tough time getting in the lineup once healthy, as Jamie Benn (upper body) and Matt Duchene (upper body) could both be back before Erne returns.
