Stars' Jacob Peterson: Sent to AHL affiliate

Peterson was assigned to AHL Texas on Wednesday, Bruce LeVine of Dallas Stars Radio reports.

Peterson scored a goal in his NHL debut Oct. 14 versus the Rangers, but he's gone scoreless in five contests since, so he'll hope to regain his scoring touch in the AHL. The 22-year-old winger could, however, be back with the big club before long.
