Rask announced his retirement from professional hockey Wednesday.

The 34-year-old Finn spent his entire 15-year NHL career in Boston, appearing in 564 regular-season games while posting a 308-165-66 record, 2.28 GAA, .921 save percentage and a whopping 52 shutouts. Rask captured a Vezina Trophy and an Olympic bronze medal in 2014, and he also partook in three Stanley Cup Finals (winning in 2011). Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman will continue to serve as the No. 1 and 2 options between the pipes in Beantown.
