How to claim the BetMGM bonus code

BetMGM has two different promotions for new users, and the offer you can sign up with depends on the state you're located in. If you are in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or West Virginia, you can sign up and get $150 in bonus bets after winning a first wager of $10 or more. If you're in another state where BetMGM operates, you can sign up and get up to $1,500 in bonus bets if your first bet loses. With that offer, BetMGM returns your stake up to $1,500 if your first wager loses. There's no minimum odds requirement with either promotion.

BetMGM bonus code terms and conditions

The BetMGM bonus code CBSSPORTS is only available to brand-new BetMGM users who are 21 or older in a state where BetMGM operates. New users must deposit $10 or more into their account when signing up.

If you sign up with the up to $1,500 in bonus bets if your first bet loses offer, the amount you bet dictates how your bonus bets are credited. If you bet less than $50 and that wager loses, you get a single bonus bet slip equal to your initial stake. If you bet $50 or more and lose, you get five bonus bet slips each worth 20% of your stake. So if you bet $1,000 and lose, you'd get five $200 bonus bet slips. Bonus bets expire after seven days and can't be withdrawn. If you win a bet using bonus bets, you get the winnings but not the stake.

Best bets on Friday, August 29

The SEC and Big 12 face off in a notable non-conference tilt on Friday when the Baylor Bears visit the Auburn Tigers. Auburn went 5-7 last year under High Freeze and will be looking to take a big step forward this year, especially with a new quarterback in Jackson Arnold, who had nearly 2,000 total yards as a dual-threat option at Oklahoma last year. As for Baylor, the Bears went 8-5 in 2025 after consecutive losing seasons, so Dave Aranda's program appears to be back on track. The Bears had a great end of the year offensively, and they return both quarterback Sawyer Robertson and 1,000-yard rusher Bryson Washington. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every college football game 10,000 times, likes Under 57.5 in this one as that side of the total hits in 60% of simulations.

Gone are Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter from Deion Sanders' Colorado program. He turns to Liberty transfer Kaidon Slater to lead the Buffaloes' offense, and they have a big task at hand in Week 1 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Brent Key's squad is coming off consecutive 7-6 campaigns, and dual-threat quarterback Haynes King is back after coming up just short of 1,000 rushing yards last season. The model is backing the Buffs as +148 underdogs as Colorado wins in just under 50% of simulations, returning value at these odds.
