How to claim the DraftKings promo code for the Open Championship

There's no code required for this offer, but you have to be of legal age in a state where DraftKings legitimately operates. You must also be a new user at the sportsbook to get the offer, meaning you could not have previously signed up for a DraftKings account. Here's how to sign up.

2025 Open Championship betting preview 

Rory McIlroy opened the major season by winning the Masters, completing the career Grand Slam at Augusta National. He got off to a slow start when the 2019 Open Championship was hosted by Royal Portrush, shooting a first-round 79 that was too much to overcome. McIlroy finished T2 in the Genesis Scottish Open last week, and he is +750 in the 2025 Open Championship odds. 

Scheffler also won a major title this year at the PGA Championship, which was the third major victory of his career. He has eight wins and 12 additional top-10 finishes in his last 25 starts, earning his spot atop the PGA odds board. However, he has not finished better than T7 in four Open Championship appearances. 

J.J. Spaun won the third major of the season at the U.S. Open, draining a lengthy putt on the final hole to secure the title. He has limited major experience compared to Scheffler and McIlroy, as this will be his first Open Championship. Spaun had finished no better than T23 in eight majors prior to the U.S. Open, so he is a 110-1 longshot this week. 

Jon Rahm (12-1), Bryson DeChambeau (22-1) and Tommy Fleetwood (25-1) join Schauffele (22-1) as some of the other Open Championship contenders. Rahm finished 11th in 2019 at Royal Portrush and has been a factor in every major this season. He is the 9-1 favorite in the winner without Scheffler and McIlroy market at DraftKings.
