Missouri sports betting preview

The Missouri State Bears may be new to FBS, but they are coming off a highly successful season in 2025. The Bears finished 7-5 overall and 5-3 in Conference USA, good for a fourth-place tie in the 12-team conference. Although they were originally deemed ineligible for a bowl, they have accepted a bid to the Xbox Bowl because there weren't enough bowl-eligible teams to fill all the spots. The Bears will face Arkansas State at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Another highly successful football team is the Missouri Tigers. Under coach Eli Drinkwitz, the Tigers have qualified for their sixth consecutive bowl game. Missouri finished the regular season at 8-4 overall and 4-4 in the Southeastern Conference, which tied them with Tennessee for eighth in the league standings. The Tigers will meet Virginia in the Gator Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 27, at 8:30 p.m. ET.
