WATCH: WWE star John Cena squats nearly 400 pounds
John Cena puts on quite a show by lifting nearly 400 pounds and placing a video of the prodigious feat on his Twitter account.
In the late 1960s, a professional wrestling tag team of Man Mountain Mike and Haystacks Calhoun shared the ring. Both weighed more than 625 pounds.
John Cena has not proven he could have lifted either one of them.
But the current WWE star did prove he could squat 600 pounds. He has released a video to his Twitter account that shows him doing just that. Quite impressive considering he tips the scale at just 250.

Cena descends slowly with the huge weights resting on his broad shoulders. He then squats for several seconds before slowly ascending.
Such muscular, modern-day PED users as Colts safety LaRon Landry and former Bash Brother Jose Canseco could not have done any better in the weight room.
And, you know, maybe Cena could have lifted Mountain Mike and Haystacks. Just not at the same time.
UPDATE: Well, I guess this was too good to be true. Cena cleared up the confusion on Twitter on Friday, and it doesn't seem as if he can squat 600 pounds.
To clear up all the false interpretation that has derived from the pause squat video, bar weight is 396 pounds or 180 kilos. Thank you.
