Peter Oosterhuis' wife Roothie talks about her husband's journey into early onset Alzheimer's.

In the video below Peter Oosterhuis' wife Roothie reveals that her husband has early onset Alzheimer's. Oosterhuis retired from the CBS booth earlier this year and was replaced by Frank Nobilo.
According to the Associated Press, Oosterhuis has known about his early onset Alzheimer's for almost a year now.
"As human beings, it took awhile to come back to ourselves," said Roothie. "But now, even though we don't like the cards we were dealt, we are ready to play them. Because we are basically happy people, and we can still have happiness."
We (obviously) wish the Oosterhuis' all the best in the coming months and years.
