WGC Bridgestone Invitational 2017 odds: Picks from model that called Spieth's run
SportsLine simulated the event 10,000 times after calling Jordan Spieth's British Open dominance
The World Golf Championships continue on Thursday with the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Golf's elite will all be on hand.
Before you make any 2017 Bridgestone Invitational bets or enter a daily fantasy golf tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings, you need to see what SportsLine has to say.
SportsLine's prediction model, which was built by DFS pro Mike McClure, nailed the Masters and U.S. Open, calling Sergio Garcia's and Brooks Koepka's wins entering the weekend.
At the British Open, the model was all over Jordan Spieth from the start and pegged him as the winner as soon as Thursday's round ended. Spieth won by three strokes and anyone who followed SportsLine scored big.
With the tournament starting Thursday, SportsLine simulated the World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational 10,000 times.
The model is once again high on Sergio Garcia, calling for the Masters champion to crack the top five despite being a 28/1 underdog.
Another sleeper: Matt Kuchar, who finished outside the top 30 at the RBC Canadian Open, but hadn't finished worse than 16th in his previous five events. He's someone to watch for at the WGC and is also fetching 28/1 odds.

SportsLine is also calling for a golfer who hasn't finished in the top 50 in his last four events to make a serious run at the title and deliver a huge upset.
