An MRI revealed that Giants outfielder Angel Pagan has a small tear in his hamstring that will likely require surgery, Pagan told reporters Saturday. Pagan is set to get a second opinion before determining whether he will undergo surgery or try to rehab the issue.
If he required surgery, Pagan would likely be sidelined for six weeks. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Pagan has not yet made any kind of decision, but said surgery would finally fix his lingering problems.
