A's OF Sam Fuld has swollen jaw but no concussion

Athletics outfielder Sam Fuld said his jaw was swollen Saturday after getting hit in the face by a baseball while running the bases Friday. However, he said his teeth were intact and he has no concussion symptoms. He wasn't even checked for a concussion.

Fuld, who is day to day, added he might wear some sort of protection for the left side of his face. He did hit in the batting cage Saturday, per the San Francisco Chronicle.
