Athletics activate 2B Tyler Ladendorf, send him to Nashville

The Athletics have activated second baseman Tyler Ladendorf off the 60-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Nashville, per MLB.com.

Ladendorf has been out for more than four months with an ankle injury that required surgery. He could return when the rosters are expanded in September.
