Athletics OF Alex Hassan will test hamstring with BP, running drills

Athletics right fielder Alex Hassan is scheduled to take batting practice on Friday. He will also test his strained hamstring with some running, according to Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

Hassan has been sidelined since March 11 with the ailment. He is competing for a roster spot in the big-league club after he was claimed by Oakland from Baltimore in late February.
