The Rays have activated reliever Brandon Gomes from the 60-day disabled list Saturday and added him to the bullpen, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Gomes has worked his way back from a lat strain after being on the DL since early May. He owns a 5.40 ERA in 11 2/3 innings this year.
