Brandon Gomes return on 'horizon'

Rays reliever Brandon Gomes is working his way back from a lat strain, the Tampa Bay Times reports Tuesday. Manager Joe Maddon said Tuesday that Gomes' return is on the "horizon." 

Gomes, on the 60-day disabled list, has been out since early May. He's currently on a rehab assignment for the Rays.
