Twins infielder Brian Dozier mentioned Saturday to the Pioneer Press former teammate Ryan Doumit, who was traded to Atlanta in December, is "not catching anymore" after coming off a concussion in August.
On Sunday, Braves general manager Frank Wren downplayed the speculation, telling MLB Network Radio Doumit is on the team's depth chart at catcher.
"We looked at Doumit as a third catcher and bat off the bench," he said.
