Carlos Villanueva could be scratched from Sunday start

Cubs pitcher Carlos Villanueva could be scratched from Sunday's start, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Villanueva was used in relief both Monday and Wednesday, and manager Rick Renteria is unsure if he'll use him Sunday. Villanueva didn't throw a lot of pitches during his appearances, and the team is still considering him for Sunday. Renteria plans to discuss other options with his coaching staff in case the club decides to go another direction.
