Yankees manager Joe Girardi is worried about the health of reliever Clay Rapada, reports the Journal News Sunday. Rapada has been shut down with shoulder bursitis.
The reliever is playing catch but there is currently no timetable to get him back into a Grapefruit League game anytime soon.
In fact, Girardi hinted he doesn't even need two left-handed pitchers in the bullpen and that means Rapada could be replaced by a right-hander.
