Starting at designated hitter in his spring debut Friday, Mariners outfielder Corey Hart went 1 for 2 with one walk and one run in his team's 12-1 win over the Padres.
Hart is attempting to get back to the form he showed before missing all the 2013 season with knee injuries. He's expected to man right field for the Mariners this year, but he could be given regular time at designated hitter or first base in an attempt to keep him as healthy as possible.
