Darwin Barney cleared for baseball activities

Cubs second baseman Darwin Barney, who is working his way back from a knee laceration, has been cleared for baseball activities, according to MLB.com. Barney is expected to remove stitches by the end of the week and possibly make his first rehab assignment over the weekend.
