Jeanmar Gomez on track to return within next two weeks

Pirates starter Jeanmar Gomez, dealing with a forearm strain, could be ready to return to the Pirates' rotation within the next week or two, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Gomez is not expected to need another rehab start. He threw eight innings over two rehab starts at Triple-A Indianapolis and allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks.
