Jonathan Broxton could return from DL early next week

Reds pitcher Jonathan Broxton could be activated from the disabled list early next week if he doesn't suffer any setbacks, the Associated Press reports.

Broxton will slot into the closer role soon after being activated from the disabled list if not immediately upon his return, and he should remain in the role until Aroldis Chapman returns from the DL. Broxton had a limited spring while recovering from forearm surgery.
