Rockies infielder Jonathan Herrera made his presence felt in his first start of the season during Sunday's series finale against the Padres.
Herrera singled in a run in the sixth and slapped an RBI triple in the eighth to help break the game open. He finished 3 for 4 with a run scored and two RBI in a 9-1 victory. The 28-year-old is hitting .500 through his first six at-bats.
