Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said Tuesday that pitcher Josh Beckett is expected to have a normal spring training as he continues to recover from rib surgery to relieve thoracic outlet syndrome, the Orange County Register reports.
Beckett has "a chance" to open the season in the rotation, per Colletti. He made just eight starts in 2013, going 0-5 with a 5.19 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 41:15 K:BB ratio in 43 1/3 innings.
