Not many people expected the Yankees and Twins to contend coming into this season, but both clubs went in Saturday night's game in the thick of the race. The Yankees lead the AL East and the Twins are two games out of a wild-card spot.

The two teams are playing a three-game series in Minnesota this weekend, and, in the fourth inning of Saturday night's game (GameTracker), Alex Rodriguez clobbered a solo home run off Tommy Milone into the third deck at Target Field. Take a look at this blast:

According to StatCast, that home run traveled 452 feet. Believe it or not, it is only A-Rod's third longest home run of the season. He hit homers that traveled 471 feet and 460 feet earlier this season, both back in April.

Rodriguez hit a two-run home run later in the game for his second two-homer game of the season. The second blast didn't travel nearly as far as the first though. It only landed in the bullpen.
