Marlins pitcher Jarred Cosart worked eight scoreless innings in Miami's 3-1 loss to the Mets Monday. Cosart worked very efficiently, allowing just two hits throughout his start. He did not allow a baserunner to reach second base in his eight innings of work.

Despite leaving with the lead, his bullpen let him down, allowing three runs in the ninth inning, to finish with a no decision. Cosart, who remains 1-1, lowered his ERA to 2.49 on the year. He will look to get his second win of the year Sunday against the Phillies.
