Nationals release Jeremy Accardo

The Nationals have released reliever Jeremy Accardo from their Triple-A Syracuse affiliate, MLB.com reports. Accardo was scuffling hard at Syracuse, as he owned a 5.16 ERA and 1.5 K/BB over 22 2/3 innings. He last appeared in the majors for 37 1/3 innings with Oakland last season.
