Phil Coke returns from injury

Tigers relief pitcher Phil Coke made his first appearance since suffering an elbow injury on Sept. 18, as he was on the mound for just two pitches in the ninth inning of Tuesday's Game 3 loss to the Red Sox in the American League Championship Series.

Coke got David Ortiz to ground out for Detroit's second out of the inning. He was immediately pulled in favor of Al Alburquerque.
