Brock Holt has earned his way into the starting lineup, even if it costs Rusney Castillo playing time, Red Sox manager John Farrell indicated Thursday. Farrell has been impressed with Holt, who is batting .324 against lefties and is doing well hitting out of the second spot in the lineup.
"Right now we’re looking to put the best alignment on the field, and what Brock is doing in the two-hole, he’s got the priority right now," Farrell said, per WEEI.com.
