Free agent center fielder Angel Pagan is being pursued by multiple teams and could sign before the start of the winter meetings, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reported Friday.

Pagan, like fellow center fielder B.J. Upton, has drawn interest from the Phillies and Braves primarily, with the Rangers, Indians, Reds and Rays among teams known to be pursuing a center fielder. Pagan has quietly been very productive over the past four years, playing a fine defensive center field while posting a .285/.337/.427 line (111 OPS+) with 32 home runs and 112 stolen bases.

Pagan, 31, made $4.85 million in his final arbitration season last year and is likely angling for a contract of at least three years and eight figures per season.
