Report: Kevin Chapman going down Thursday

The Astros will send reliever Kevin Chapman down Thursday, according to the Houston Chronicle. Chapman was informed of the move after allowing a walk to the only batter he faced in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Royals.

Chapman had a 12.27 ERA and 3.27 WHIP in six appearances, allowing five runs on five hits and seven walks in 3 2/3 innings of work. A corresponding move has not been announces.
