Rick Ankiel hits third homer

Astros right fielder Rick Ankiel hit his third home run of the season in the team's 7-5 loss to the A's Wednesday. Ankiel, who didn't start the game, led off the ninth inning with a pinch-hit home run.

With three of his five hits this season going over the fence, Ankiel is batting .179/.179/.536 in 28 plate appearances this year.
